We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Porter/Janitor to join our team!
Building Information: 89 Murray | Related
Work Schedule:
Sunday - Tuesday (1:00pm - 9:00pm)
Wednesday and Thursday (3:00pm - 11:00pm)
Days Off: Friday and Saturday
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in high-end residential buildings, demonstrating a commitment to cleanliness, customer service, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of all common areas, including the lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and amenity spaces.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, stripping/waxing/buffing floors, and removing garbage.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents by responding promptly and professionally to their needs.
- Maintain the general appearance and condition of the building and surrounding grounds.
- Conduct seasonal maintenance, including snow removal and landscaping.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Compensation:
$28.77 (Full Union Rate)

Qualifications
1-2 years of prior experience in janitorial, cleaning, or porter services, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting.
Strong reliability and familiarity with handling cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic.
Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, including full 8-hour shifts.
Basic knowledge of light maintenance is a plus.
